Q & A with Mindy Nies
What does it mean to you to be a part of TRELORA?
It means I get to help make the world a better place. I get to help make the real estate industry which is currently not on consumers side, better.
What do you like about working at TRELORA?
The people. And sweet, Miss Paisley.
How do you try to leave people better?
Through servant leadership.
Name 3 of your core values.
Always bring your A-game.
Tell us about your best TRELORA experience.
Seeing Josh present at the 2014 Techstars Boulder Demo Day was a spiritual moment for me.
Tell us about a work-related challenge you have overcome.
Parking tickets. I've received $700 in tickets since working at TRELORA because I'm too stubborn to put a license plate on the front of my fancy pants car. I've learned to get over myself and just put a damn plate on my car so that I don't get any more tickets.
If you weren't revolutionizing the real estate industry, what would you be doing?
I would be spending more time learning how to be more present.
Pets? Family? Hobbies?
1 husband. 2 teenagers. I love food, wine, travel and I'm obsessed with helping other women be more successful and achieve equality in the workplace.
Next time you save $12k (or more) on your personal real estate transaction, how will you spend your dough?
By reinvesting it into my next home.
Describe your dream home.
A new build ranch with high-end farmhouse finishes, tons of privacy and epic views of downtown Denver.
What's your favorite Denver brewery or happy hour spot?
Denver in not my jam, but Brasserie Ten Ten in Boulder has the best happy hour anywhere along the front range.
