What does it mean to you to be part of TRELORA?
Being a part of TRELORA means being involved with a company fighting to do the right thing. I've worked in sales for numerous companies and industries; this is the first time I truly believe what I'm selling is making a difference.
What do you like about working at TRELORA?
I love the people and the culture here. We have a fun, collaborative environment that allows everyone to make a difference in multiple roles.
How do you try to leave people better?
In many cases, a home is somebody's most prized possession. Buying or selling a home is stressful and nerve-wracking. I try to leave people better by offering transparency throughout the process and treating each person with the love they deserve. I've learned a smile goes a long way toward healing the nerves.
Name 3 of your core values.

Tell us about your best TRELORA experience.
My best experience with TRELORA was being involved in a "pigging." Little known fact: TRELORA supports a non-profit called the TRELORA Foundation with a wonderful mission known as The Green Pigs Project. In a nutshell, anyone can nominate a person in their circle who is struggling and in need of a lift. The Green Pigs Project covers the nominee's mortgage or rent payment for a month in order to help the recipient get back on their feet and catch a little break in life. Last year I was lucky enough to participate in pigging a wonderful family in need. On top of paying their monthly mortgage, we presented 4 new bikes and helmets to their children. Seeing the smiles on the face of each kid as they mounted their new bicycle and the cheerful expression of the parents watching them ride around the park will stick with me for a long time.
Tell us about a work-related challenge you have overcome.
TRELORA has helped me grow a lot as a person, inside and outside of the office. Stepping into a company that is growing so quickly means I must be open to change daily. The largest challenge I've had to overcome is accepting "uncomfortable." Every day brings new challenges and new opportunities. The changing atmosphere is a challenge, but is also one of my favorite things about TRELORA.
If you weren't revolutionizing the real estate industry, what would you be doing?
I've never had a good answer to the traditional question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" To be honest, I've always hoped I wouldn't have to grow up and make a decision. I've come to love the craziness and opportunity involved with start-ups; so I'm not sure where I'd be today without TRELORA.
I've heard of a company that plans multi-day bicycle excursions across the most beautiful destinations in the world. Maybe I'm crazy, but being a tour guide for that company would be pretty incredible.
Read any good books lately?
All the books I've read lately revolved around my studies to pass the Real Estate Exam. They were… less than riveting. The real thing is so much better!
Family? Pets? Hobbies?
I got married in 2015 to my wonderful wife, Ashley. We have 2 of the best dogs in the world: Trek & Otis. When I'm not at TRELORA, I try to enjoy Colorado to the max. You can find me riding my bicycle around the city and trying all of the delicious breweries, playing a pick-up game of ice hockey, cruising the canyons on my motorcycle, or escaping it all and camping up in the mountains.
Next time you save $12k (or more) on your personal real estate transaction, how will you spend your dough?
I'd probably spend it on travel. I haven't had many opportunities to travel yet in my life, but I have a laundry list of places I want to visit. I'd probably plan a trip through Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
