What do you like about working at TRELORA?
I like being part of a team of people, all working together to change an industry and help people save money. A traditional agent is an independent contractor. At TRELORA, we work as a team to provide the very best possible experience for both buyers and sellers. This way of doing business benefits me as an employee and also benefits our clients, because we are held to a higher standard of excellence than independent contractors.
How do you try to leave people better?
I try to leave people better by being the very best I can be at what I do. Making sure clients understand what is happening in all phases of the process and providing guidance and information to help them make the best decisions they can in one of the biggest and most stressful transactions of their lives, whether they are buying or selling a home.

There are so many! When people look at me at a closing, and tell me that the purchase of their new home would not have been possible without TRELORA and the money we saved them. That’s pretty special.
Tell us about a work-related challenge you have overcome
At TRELORA, we have to overcome the industry legacy of over 100 years of doing business the same way! We are constantly fighting the perception that things must be done the same way... just because that’s the way they've always been done! We don't believe that, and we are changing people's perception of how real estate deals are done.
If you weren't revolutionizing the real estate industry, what would you be doing?
I have a background working in start-up companies, so probably working at a start-up of some kind. I enjoy the unique set of challenges that come with this scenario.
Read any good books lately? (or seen a movie or listened to a CD that rocked?)
I read and watch mostly non-fiction. The last movie I really enjoyed was Lincoln starring Daniel Day Lewis. He is incredible in the film.
Pets? Family? Hobbies?
My husband Vince and I have a cat, Buddy.

I sold my own home through TRELORA and bought a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) property through TRELORA as well. Between both transactions, I saved over $60,000. The savings allowed me to buy an amazing condo downtown that would have been out of reach without the savings I had in commissions.
