Q & A with Mia Donnell

What does it mean to you to be a part of TRELORA?

It means that I get to be a part of an exciting movement in the real estate market. I am in total support of TRELORA's values of transparency and doing what is best for homeowners.

What do you like about working at TRELORA?

I enjoy the people I work with most of all. Everyone is so genuinely friendly and dedicated to doing their job well.

How do you try to leave people better?

In my job I'm all about creating the best experience I can when customers visit our website whether it's on their mobile device or on their computer. I strive to leave them better by creating a frustration-free and easy to use website.

Name 3 of your core values

  • Be kind

  • Do my best

  • Play every day

Tell us about your best TRELORA experience

My best experience so far is getting to know the people that work here. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and willing to take the time to get to know me.

Tell us about a work-related challenge you have overcome

With design, there are challenges every day. I am always balancing to keep my designs easy to use, easy to understand and beautiful at the same time.

If you weren't revolutionizing the real estate industry, what would you be doing?

I love being a graphic and product designer whether it's print or digital, so I would most likely be continuing my passion at a tech company or design studio.

Pets? Family? Hobbies?

I am married to my wonderful husband David, and we have an adorable little Yorkshire Terrier named Rosie. She has 2x the attitude of her size and looks just like an Ewok from StarWars. In my spare time, I take ballet classes and love to cook.

Next time you save $12k (or more) on your personal real estate transaction, how will you spend your dough?

I think I would definitely take some of the money to go on a vacation (maybe Prague or Tokyo). The rest I would put into savings or retirement.

Describe your dream home

My dream home would be a loft style condo. I love hardwood floors, exposed brick and a beautifully designed kitchen and bathroom.

What's your favorite Denver brewery or happy hour spot?

I really like D Bar. They always have delicious bites to share with friends and a great selection of yummy, creative cocktails.
