Fees & Commissions

How do buyer refunds work?

Trelora Home Buyer receive half of the buyer agent commission back at closing.* You get streamlined, stress-free service, and cash back with the Trelora Home Buyer Rebate.

Do I have to pay taxes on my refund?

Nope. Your refund isn’t considered income, so it is not taxable.

What is Trelora’s listing fee?

Sellers pay only one fair fee of 1% vs the traditional 3%. This fee is collected out of the proceeds at closing, so we only get paid if you do. There are no hidden fees.

What does the listing fee cover? Are there any hidden charges?

There are no hidden charges. Our fair fee covers everything a traditional agent would provide.

  • We post and advertise your home on social media to attract buyers.

  • We send out a professional photographer to take pictures of your home so we can highlight the best features.

  • You’ll work very closely with a team of experienced agents — they are experts in pricing, negotiating, and contracts. They’re going to be there to guide you through the entire transaction, and are going to negotiate fiercely on your behalf to successfully sell your home.

How do you do it so cheap?

We have built our own software and tools that make our agents more efficient. That means they can work on more transactions while providing awesome customer service, all without needing to take a big fee.

Do I need to pay anything upfront?

Nope! For buyers, the only time we exchange money with you will be when we send you a check after closing. For sellers, our low fair fee will be paid from the proceeds when your sale closes.
